Recommended read: Detour by Kay Wilde

November 14, 2010

Forty-something divorcee Kayla Reed fantasizes about experiencing the passion she never had during her marriage. Jaded Morgan Warner fantasizes about meeting a woman with whom a passionate encounter would be something special. When a freak Thanksgiving snowstorm strands Kayla at Morgan’s remote log cabin, they both get to experience their fantasies. “Detour,” is a quick, sweet romance by author Kaye Wilde, perfect for curling up for an hour or two over the Thanksgiving holiday.  What is refreshing about this story is that the characters are “older” — in their 40s. The ending is touching…it actually brought a tear to my eye.
